Reachin' out (range day)

Well a beautiful 37f rainy day on the West coast of Canada and I got some FX no limits mounts this past week first chance to try them out. Impressed with the quality of them and I can see them definitely helping with long distance shots. In this pic you can see the different target ranges, 25, 50, 100 and 200 meters. (200 is out there in the mist)

Shooting the king heavies at 900. (I get 50 at this power level 230-155 or so)

So I was playing around with the mounts and shooting some 50 and 100m. Nothing amazing at 100 but decent for sure.

I maxed out the adjustment on the mounts and wanted to see where they hit on that berm way at the back past 200 and to my surprise I was hitting high! So the next cease fire I put a target I found in the garbage out there at 200m.

First try shooting this far (220 yards) I could see some of the pellets hit but not all, this is with a 6-18 Hawke Panorama.

Now that I know the gun/scope combo can do it, I'll work at this more no doubt it would be tighter without the pouring rain part haha.

Thanks gents,

@Crusher

I set the reg to 160 or so and if I do about a half turn from maxed out on the HST I get 900 with heavies and 990-1000 with the kings. I have a thread "got 60fpe with my Royale" with chrony pics etc. This isn't on a Crown. I've also regularly been checking the Hammer and valve to make sure running it like this isn't bashing anything up. The Hammer is showing no additional wear and I run a pick up the side hole to access the valve tip and make sure there's no lip or ridge on the outside of it (any early signs of mushrooming) there's none. Been running it like this for about 4000 shots but many of them with really light HST for indoor shooting. I can get from 350-900 FPS in 1 minute using the HST as my power adjuster.

Edit, I also opened up the inside of the stock mounting boss both the vertical hole and the horizontal hole. But this is after and I didn't notice any difference.
