RAW REPORT

Hey folks, I been playing with my new toy, TMX1000 .177 HP, 30 fpe, shooting the 16gr beast over 900 fps. I upgraded the 500cc steel bottle for a 580cc Carbon fiber. Ive been setting it up for 25m open/unlimited class. First target at 25m was a few points shy of 250 in some very challenging conditions. Pretty sure I’ll be using this gun at RMAC to defend my title.

75 yards 6 shots....lol i had to try..

Hi guys,

I'm please to share with you that I've become an owner of this beauty, and it is a joy to shoot.

TM 1000 177 with polygon barrel.

It is set up for hunter field target at about 18.5 FPE Shooting JSP monsters really well, but also shooting Nielsen 15.5 grains slugs amazingly.

It came with rowan trigger blade, and this is what I have question on: After I hit second stage on the trigger, it travels about 1mm more before it goes off. I've tried adjusting it by taking out second stage screw one turn. Adjustment does the job well on action out of the stock, but when put back into the stock it won't fire.

Did anyone experience this? Can someone share trigger diagram elapse?

Thanks you, Vasyl.

Make sure you have clearance between the stock and trigger arm, Rowan requires slight inletting on the trigger drop down hole.

Let’s see some pics of gun! I hope it’s a silver X-action in a BM stock w/titanium shroud... “hint, hint”, those are nice groups @ 50yds

I requested a naked barrel, i dropped it into a LRT stock, the tmx action is the same size as a HMx action. I dont have a BR stock for this YET.. but shooting off bipod and rear bag yielded outstanding results.

Guys, how much of a pain would it be to remove the barrel and have the end threaded to install a mod?

Removing the barrel is extremely easy. No trick at all. Just unscrew all the three grub screws at the top and pull the barrel out.

Threading the barrel for moderator may affect accuracy a bit. Sometimes it affects accuracy and sometimes not.

So I would suggest to put a sleeve on the muzzle end and thread that sleeve to accept moderator so that you could come back to square one if you need.

Thought i would share a VERY NICE retrofit that I've never read about and works great !

Long story short ... Air gun show a few months ago found this small .2L ( 200cc ) bottle that when asking about it, came off a BSA R10.

Figured for the $10 seller wanted i could find a use for it eventually. So happened that when doing some in depth R&R with the 400cc bottle on my TM-1000 ( Bottle version like an HM ) well son of a gun if it did not SCREW RIGHT ON and sealed up & opened the check valve too !!

So here it sits on my .20 cal TM-1000 and it provides plenty of air for a full round of Field target. In use it actually provides @ 90 shots at > 20 ft lbs. ( modified gun mind you )

Real PLUS was the clearance it opened up allowing a FULL LENGTH shroud of which in now fitted. 1 1/4" O.D. BTW making the gun stupid quiet. While the clearance between bottle / shroud is tight, both are so stiff and flex free they don't come together even holding the rifle by the bottle shooting. COOL

Less weight out front has aided off hand steadiness too. A True win win and great mod for those application where you don't need a big heavy tank & big volume.

This with an inexpensive Tac-Vector Sentinel 10-40x50 and the factory 400cc bottle.

In the picture 2 posts up the SCOPE an Aztec Emerald 5.5-25x50 with Scopewerks Nautilus wheel. Set with a Far forward position for shooting in the Deadman position.

Barrel changes are 3 screws on top of receiver ... easy peezy. Other change required is the probe nose on bolt assembly. ( HM magazine guns ) with just a seal / end plug on the TM's

Here a part many would find a great addition to the RAW air rifles fantastic trigger group.

This is a ONE OFF custom I made over 4 years ago for my personal gun ... this was done with No drawings, Sketches etc .... it just sorta became what it is by having an idea in my head of something like that ... turning into something like this. Made from billet aluminum with a spring steel 1/16' rod, set screw R/C clevis post pressed into a delrin C shoe trigger blade.

I share this in the hope perhaps someone with CNC capabilities could start manufacturing such a replacement blade assembly ? as i'm sure they would sell very well !

I have no intention of producing these ... simply too much work with manual machines. Food for though if your a fabricator / parts maker.

The wire post slides diagonally threw the main block and is held via a set screw. It can go in/out moving the set back position & rotate which angles the wire side to side. Together many combos exist. Change the bend in wire you get even more. The Shoe / post slides U / Down and also rotates Side/Side on the wire and has a set screw to hold position. The Blade also rotates on the post allowing blade face to rotate 360* so any finger position within trigger guard can be adjusted. ( As shown all is pretty straight )

All said IMO a REALLY really cool design I wish could be made so all could enjoy a much improved trigger in the RAW rifles.
