RAW REPORT

Hey guys just checking in and saying HI.. I have been out shooting my .30 and the wildcat 25 but it’s all steel so no pics to put up but I’m having fun from 15 yards to 100 yards, the 25 with the Marksman 10x42 is doing just fine and the Aztec Emerald is holding up on the HMx .30, still need to shoot the HMx 357 some more and the Texan 45 has been feeling left out but I still have to say that the 30 is still my go to. I have decided to hold off till fall before adding a RAW .25 to my collection guess I just want to enjoy the two RAWs I have now and see how the summer goes. It’s nice to see you guys still going at it with your RAWs so until next time shoot straight and keep your air dry hahaha.

"mubhaur"I don't know why but 2nd focal plane scopes are my choice.
All My Vortex Diamondback hp are 2nd focal plane.

Mubhaur,
I was not sure if I would like the change to FFP but it makes sense from an ease of calculating stand point.
Once I shot with my first FFP I was sold. Like I said I guess it's not for everyone but I'll never change back. To each their own. The only right choice is what you personally are use to or want to try.
Craig
I have tried ffp but the enlargement of reticle with zoom in is something I don't like.

"DeutschKSK"Hey Craig I only have used NSA slugs.. really good ammo.
I like Ratsniper slugs!
Thanks They look a whole lot cleaner for sure. Are you shooting .25 cal in an HM1000X? If so what do you prefer?
Craig
I’ve used Ratsnipers in my RAW .22 and .25. These guns like the heavier ones, but the length of the magazines limit what you can use unless you single load. The 25 likes the 31 gr. Ratsnipers measure 0.2495 and chamber much easier than the .250 types.

The rat sniper slugs look interesting. I was looking at them during lunch break on my computer and clicked on the link to the hunting pics only to find a pop-up message that 'blocked' access from my organization with a note about '***********' not being valid use of company resources (or something like that). Hope I didn't trip somebody's trigger down in IT by viewing airgun ammo...

Just a few 5 shot groups at 50 yds with my 19 ft lb TM1000. Can easily be covered with a dime. .177 has become my go to rifle to shoot in my backyard. Getting about 125 shots per fill at 19ft lbs. The barrel i have in right now is a Lothar Walther and has a Optisan EVX 4-16x- 44mm FFP scope on it. Don't see much on the .177 RAWs on here so thought id share the love.

Dear RAW family members,

I need complete write up step by step servicing of RAW.

I sent a mail to Martin about adjustment of pellet probe and the tiny Allen key that I thought is required for adjustment but Martin says that the Allen key is not required in these new models.

I have worked in a few UK made theobetheobenTheobenwithout any issues but the RAW us a bit different in adjustment of pellet probe and tiny grub screw the the area around the probe.
