RAW REPORT

Nice bikes Terry.
Always loved the aprilla, and triumph. I was never a big fan of Ducati. I like my supersports naked. I How heavy is your aprilla? Can't wait to get a bike and just ride in az. Might be a couple years because this move is being a pain right now.
Speed in the blood, lol. I am sure we all have horror stories and near death experience because of the toys we have. Lol. Wouldn't trade those in for the world. Makes me smile thinking about it.

Rey,
Both are Aprilia the top one is a Futura or as I call it a Futura-R, I say that because it has all kinds of Mille R parts all over it including Ohlins suspension, Brembo Gold line caliper, Brembo radial master cylinder etc... It is my SPORT touring bike. That one is about 530 ish with the bags. We have done an 1100 mile day together before. I have the iron butt certificate to show for it.

The track bike it was probably around 430ish they are not as light as you would think at a glance, but the torque on that one was amazing third gear roll on wheelies were easy with it.

Funny you should mention Triumph.
This was my baby for 16 years before I sold it to my best friend to keep her in the family.

Craig,
Now I thought I was a die hard after using a bike for 4 years as sole transportation, however.......
Muzzle loader on a bike now that takes combining hobbies to a new level. :)

Sweet bikes guys, it stands to reason that we are all into the same things.

I was pulled over one sunday morning as i was on my way to a sporting clays match by a PA state trooper. I figured that i was going to get the ride act but he just wanted to ask if i would make him a holder for this bike. We still get together to shoot every once in a while.

"Rey"Geeze does every one here ride also?
I used to race dirt bikes. Then got into the street. I agree, road a hayabusa that was fast. I love the power at a flick of the wrist. I don' think I will race dirt bikes these days. They are doing 100 to 150 ft triples. I got a family to support can' be doing those anymore. The dirt bikes these days will do wheelies in 4th gear.
I am kind of a gear head. So anything with a motor I love them.
That fat Bob looks great. I am sporter guy these days with big tires up front. I like that old school.
I have this 33 and a built SN95 GT 5.0 with a ON 6 Turbo plus some other goodies and 2 RAW airguns see I said Airgun to keep on topic.

Yep back on topic.

So after weeks of frustration I have quit on the refinish of my LRT stock for my 30 cal.
I started with a high gloss which made the laminate look like Granite it was sharp, however there
were lots of little issues in the finish so I stripped it down and started again.
Now on the third go round and letting it set for a week I just finished using the stock mud to even the finish out.
I decided to stick with a nice satin finish instead of the gloss or the mat finish that Martin prefers.

Here by the pool really does not show the satin much but it does show how well the deep finish I have on it enhanced the grain.

Now to show the Satin finish I was inspired by some pictures that Glem did a while back.
The color is just the gun picking up the surrounding colors which it did a lot, it really did look brown when you were looking at it.

Or back on the bench where she belongs. (It is just resting on the bottle to expose more stock)

Wow jim you got a lot of toys.
Used to work at a tuner shop. Tuned a 08 stang with a blower. Output at the rear wheels was 570hp. The most impressive part wasn't the peak in numbers. But this car made 475 ft/lbs of torque almost throughout the entire rpm range. Torque was almost instant and remained steady. We had some big number hp come through the shop 1500 and up. But that stang combo was almost perfect for the every day driver.
By far the funnist car was the Ford Pantera. It is just so classic compared to the gt40, vette, viper, etc. But the gt40 stick to the road like your riding on rails.

I was just at my sport shop to get some more targets and I also checked out a scope, it a Sig Sauer Tango 3-12x42 and what a nice scope, he had it marked at 549.00, the glass is clear, eye relef is real good and the reticle is nice, the turrets have very nice clicks also, it is also a lighted site with side focus and over all it is also very lite in my book, think ill try one this summer and besides that I bought a GP100 5” on impulse that he just took in on trade so I still need to pay for it when he gets a price figured out..
I can see getting reid of a couple scopes and going with the Tango on a couple Airguns if they hold out.

"Imold"
"Kdog"Since this has turned into a bike thread here is my 2015 Indian Chieftain
