RAW REPORT

"Hynzie"yeah if we can hold on ,to u get yours and a couple others get theres we may be able to expand our thread ,sure would like to here from everyone ,if the talk is on,RAW ,,even if you dont own one and would like to chime in ,,the more u know about them the more people will buy them
That’s the whole idea of this thread but like I said before you put it in the General Airgun topic thread so it’s pretty much open to RAW Reports and anything else we want to talk about that has to do with airgunnin, now if it was in the PCP topic area then yes we should keep it all RAW but it’s here so yeehaaa lets keep it going and now we will get more on the RAW topic as more folks with RAW airguns check in.

Does anyone remove the moderator to clean the barrel?

While watching the video on you-tube about the RAW facility i saw Martin installing a moderator and it appeared as though he was exerting a fare amount of force getting it on the barrel. It would seem to me with minimal tolerance for clearance between the pellet diameter and moderator inside bore you would not want to move this attachment too often.

CRAIG i just went and removed mine ,,wanted to give you good info ,there a small end cap that removes and the mod slides right off ,,nothing like what you see in the video,i thought he was gonna bend the barrel, lol no force needed ,,pat

When i look at the map link on the home page i only see 2 in my area and they are 30 - 50 miles away. They might not even have PCP weapons.

I'm guessing that the price tag of the gun and filling challenges scare many off. Heck i paid more for one of my air guns than i paid for my 2 Hi-power and Small bore silhouette rifles. What i do enjoy about airguns is not having to sit in front of the Dillon press 3-5 hours a week not to mention the costs and challenges of buying supplies over the past 4 years. I'm in a rural area and never have to leave my back deck to plink.

I'm filling with a 6000 PSI Nitrogen bottle and it is close to my shooting area.

Thats awesome Craig im in MASS ,,a lot of us worry about being hassled by the MAN ..,no matter what steps u take ,theres always a couple making it up as they go ,, most of the P D in my home town are great ,but//// Another cool thing about RAW is TENN office open mon to FRI,,,,then MARK in ARIZONA RAW OFFICE IS open wed to sun ,,so there is always someone to talk to 7 days a week,, MARK is a real nice guy knows his RAW ,,pretty cool ,huh.

I am about to order my first RAW as soon as I get off work today. I am looking for Martin to build me a .177 for field target shooting at 19ft lbs. I am going to ask him bout the thimble system and different barrel options to hear his thoughts on the subject.Mine will be a single shot with a thumbhole walnut stock...would like to keep the weight down as much as possible.
