HotbrassThanks all. I will stick with the LW rifled barrel.
Would like to see the members RAW rifle pictures on this site.
The thing for me is the super easy hand loading of the pellet. I have a 30cal BM500x and the pellets fit tightly into the breach. Mark B showed me his BM500 in 17cal and I was like "so when can I get a thimble!!!!!" lol."scrane"Thinking about it, the non rifled thimble might aid the pellet to pass over the transfer port without damage .
"aa_limited"yes dirte.. you are having a maple stock right? man that sounds awesome if so.
that is going to be one amazing gun.
so why getting a 22 call evn thou u have a 25!
Thanks! Air rifles tend to be rather thick, so it is a bit harder to find the correct size. Martin/RAW sends a template and size requirements if a buyer supplied stock is ordered. https://www.nwtimber.com/"Crutcherro1"Dirte,
Who did you get your blank from? That is going to be one awesome rifle...
I have not seen the wood in person. I had it directly shipped to RAW. I requested no stipple, and no finish be applied. I wanted to use my own product. This one is going to be cut as a thumb-hole stock. I figured with already having a LRT already that I could swap stocks between the .22 and the .25 due to the fact that they are both HMX receivers."Imold"That maple is going to make a nice stock can't wait to see it done, I almost went with a LRT stock on my HMx .357 but went with a special order Blue Laminate and cut into a Thumbhole stock and if this turns out I'll be getting a .25 next year with a LRT stock but not sure on color.
