RAW HM1000x LRT inbound from SPAW

I recently purchased a few things from Ken at SPAW , and among them was a RAW HM1000X LRT .25 with Rowan Engineering RAW/Rapid Trigger, Aztec Emerald 5.5-25x50 Scope, and case. Setup, tuned, and ready to go. Ken has been keeping me up to date on the setup and tuning. I can't say it enough. Ken makes purchasing and experience, and makes me feel like I'm his only customer. I thought I would share what I have coming. I'll provide more updates once I get some time behind the rifle. I can't wait until I get my hands on this. Thanks Ken, I really appreciate the effort you put into the whole process.

I finally got it in, and will hopefully be able to take it out to the range this weekend to shoot 50 and 100 yds. I plan on shooting a few hundred pellets through it to get familiar with it. Hope the weather holds up. I ran a few pellets through it outside, and it's not really loud like I thought it would be. It's not as heavy as I thought it would be either, and is well balanced. I'm looking forward to spending a ton of time behind this rifle.

I have a RAW HM 1000 on .22. I've had a number of other air rifles before and after the RAW, but none better. It and my Red Wolf are my favorites, two very different, but excellent rifles. The RW shot count, ease of operation and versatility are unmatched in my experience. In comparison, the RAW is a tank, and a dinosaur. But, that's also its attraction. If the RAW has an issue, just break out a few basic tools and fix it. If the RW quits, I need help. But, there isn't a lot of mechanical stuff in it to break or need maintenance. Ken does a great job, and I'm sure you will be very pleased with the rifle.
