Raw hm1000x chassis or fx crown continuum?

Rapidair, Is the original thumbhole TM stock still available?,“Not the bastardized version” and I thought I read where all TM/BM actions Will be set up with a thimble and all anodized black?

Just received a .25 in a chassis straight from Martin. Still waiting on rings to mount scope. Haven't shot yet. A lot lighter than walnut stock. Can't wait to shoot it. Shooting NSA 33.5 at about 930. FX hybrids around 995, Haides around 1024? And 25.39 at 1045.

I can show you some bench targets if you like. Groups don't really show what the gun can do if you shoot 10+ shots.
To OP, RAW all the way. I have both the FX and the RAW. No comparison. Don't get me wrong. The Crown is very nice and mine shoots very well. But my RAW 177, 22 and 30 are just a step above. Especially when it comes to pure accuracy for bench and fit & finish. The RAW action is about as good as it gets. And look at the pictures above. No question it is also a beautiful gun.
Of course, just my 2 cents worth.

Hummm... I take that back. This is with the .22 Sorry wrong pic but I do get the same results with my 177. The 177 pic is a 248.

I think that eventually i will go with the RAW. Almost everyone (if not everyone) on this thread is in favor of it. Indeed it is an outstanding rifle!!!!

I almost went with a RAW as well and like just about everything about it. However, they are apparently pretty loud with no easy way to quiet them down. Wouldn’t work for my backyard. I have no first hand knowledge of this but if you read about them, it seems pretty universal.

The stock mod is a little loud in the larder calibers. But I bought a DonnyFl experimental for my .30 and it is pretty quiet.
