RAW HM1000X .25 conversion to .22 with indexable TP (pics)

Finally I have got a good barrel machined to fit my 60ftlb HM1000x that was initially in .25 calibre.

I have kept the barrel indexable and TP can be changed to different sizes to shoot different weight of pellets.

Here are some pics.

Finally I installed BSA .22 barrel from old stock.

Keeping the factory settings that were for .25 60 fpe, now the gun shoots .22 25 grain redesigned pellets at 935 fps with extreme accuracy up to 90 yards as I just checked.

18 grain is shooting at 1050 fps . Accuracy at 24 yards with 18 grain at 1050 fps is great.

Its pellet on pellet.

I still have to see the accuracy in detail.

Great results Umair, thats a hammer in .22 forsure. Ive had good results shooting even at 100m with those 18s screaming above 1000fps.

Great

Ok

Are you going to blue the barrel? Mine started rusting up from the condensation of shooting the first time out. But im sure your climate is much drier.

I live in a coastal city. So a lot of humidity and chances of rusting.

I will just get it painted. The same paint that is applied on cars etc. Hardner will be the part of paint.

I have done it in the past and it proved to be a very successful experiment.
