RAW carbon fiber shroud

I bought a new RAW HM 1000X in 22 cal and it came with the new oversized moderator and I removed it. The carbon fiber shroud only goes from the action to about 1/2 up the barrel so there's a long stretch of uncovered barrel. I'm looking for a CF tube (shroud) I can slide on the barrel to go from the crown to where the existing shroud ends. Any ideas where I can find one? Thanks

Call Airguns USA and see if Martin will sell you a piece. He is still making RAW air guns.

Emailed Martin and got a reply. Asked if I had glossy or matt. Replied to him today. Hope he'll cut something for me. Bob

Hi All, got an email from Martin today and he's cutting some CF next week and will help me out. Just wanted to update you. Bob

Thanks for update, I was wondering what Martin would do? I think I’ll inquire about the whole length CF tube or even send the barrel in to have the new threaded adapter installed.

Which RAW do you shoot? I've got a few. a .177 BM that's an amazing gun I bought from Kim Z. A .22 TM1000x that can't shoot well. I'm looking to try another barrel and see if I can get better accuracy at 50yd. And the latest is the new HM 1000x that so far I'm not too happy with. It just doesn't keep groups. I'm setting up a more free recoil top on my front rest to see if something improves. I'm not the best shooter but when I shoot rifles that belong to others that we know are good rifles I shoot much better. Any experience with the new HM?

I have a BM-500 .177, TM-1000 .177 Walnut (supposedly one of the last ones actually made in-house by Martin?) and a HM1000x .25.

Both .177’s shoot extremely well, the .25 is good but not quite as I hoped? But still more consistent than the 3- Redwolf’s or the 3-Fx’s I’ve owned!

You are scaring me. Bought the new RAW HM1000x chassis gun on reputation alone but have not been able to shoot it bc it’s so darn loud. It would be a pisser if I get it all ready to go and then it won’t hold groups.

Those are beautiful rifles. You may have gotten a good barrel and everything will be fine. On my new RAW I'm gong to test it without the moderator and install a cf sleeve I ordered from Martin. I also ordered a tuner from Tim Swan and we'll see how that works. If that all fails then I'll look at another new barrel.
Didn't the Chasis come with a moderator? Or the moderator is just not good enough. Both my .22 cals are pretty loud but I shoot at a range so I don't mind. One thing I'll give credit to is the HM1000X moderator. That monster does work.
