RAW Barrel Swap .25 to .25 Polygon?

Good read and great info in this thread guys-thanks. I too am swapping my 'regular' (50 fpe) .25 cal HM1000x barrel for a 'high power' (60 fpe) polygon barrel. My gun is with Marting right now, being converted. The quotes listed in this thread match what he told me as well (plus a bit of money to do the conversion work). While the gun is there, I'm having Martin set me up with a 'dual caliber' setup so I have a .30 cal barrel/probe/magazine as well. Martin is also setting up (if he's able to) my Rowan engineering trigger adjustable blade to work with my gun. I'm not sure whether he'll get that to work or not since, when I tried installing it, it seemed to loose all the first stage travel (or make it seem like it was just 'slop' rather than a first stage) so I ended up putting Martin's factory trigger blade onto the gun instead and sending it with my gun to see if he could get it to work.

Anyway, lead time quotes from Martin ranged from ~2 weeks to about 4 weeks (4 weeks was where he was at when I sent him my gun in early November).

FWIW, Martin mentioned that the gun would need substantial internal work (I'm guessing transfer port enlargement?), a new hammer spring, and an new hammer spring plug, and adjustments to the regulator to convert from the 50 fpe, to 60 fpe gun. He said, once setup for the 60 fpe version, swapping to the .30 cal setup was going to be pretty much a direct barrel swap with little else needed. I'm guessing, if anything, a slight tweak to the hammer spring tension is maybe needed-if I want. I'll likely just leave it allone and swap barrels back and forth, as desired.

I can't wait to get the 'all done' email...

I'm curious about how much louder the gun will be. Please post up when you get time to shoot it.
