RAW HM1000X LRT

Scott_MCTI went with the Accushot 6-25-56 with the included medium mounts, which turned out to be perfect. Went with the Atlas bipod which was very expensive but so worth it. The LRT is a dream...

I have a quick detach atlas also.....it has seen several guns in its years. Its still here because I LOVE MY ATLAS. Its an 8 hour drive for me to get to RAW. Going to take my copilot Amy/Blue Heeler. Get some Redbull.....listen to some tunes.....and set the cruise. I love driving at night....Ibwork nights. I will be there when they open Thursday. Pics soon to follow.

I know you are going to love your new RAWs! Here's a picture of my baby 'Raquel'....

"Nueces"It's a nit pic I know but I just can't stand that chunky piece of wood they call a trigger guard. To me the gun would look better if they would cut that off and put a nice steel guard in its place like Daystate does with their Airwolf and Wolverine.
I had the same thought this morning while looking at RAW's website.

I agree. But its not a deal breaker for me. Ive shot a RAW before and the triggers make up for it. Their triggers are better than anything I have felt.

DairyboyCurious to see how yours turns out as I'm pretty sure this is a gun I will want in my future.

You will know soon enough. Got someone to work tonight for me so Im off 7 days now. Heading out tonight......so I will have my LRT in hand tomorrow morning.

Wonderful! I'm sure that's going to great to get to pick it up yourself from there. Enjoy!

"Crutcherro1"Ooops...

I like it. It just looks like a really well put together air rifle. I'm not looking at it and wondering why they are expensive like I am with some others. The stock is actually a good one for a factory piece. The shroud is an appropriate length for the power so it feels like someone actually put some thought into it.

The trigger guard thing is a matter of taste. Looking at the rest of the gun, it is definitely not because they were trying to save a buck. To my eye, it just looks like they were trying to keep clean lines. The only concern for me with a wood guard is if it is a point of weakness (as thin wood snaps easily), so they had to make it a little thicker than a regular guard.

I will get some pics up in the sunlight tomorrow. The forest laminate stock definitely looks good. I ran into some issues today while shooting.....but I dont believe any of the issues are the guns fault. I got a set of blackhawk rings for it and I noticed they did not fit the picatinny rail worth a poop. I shot it anyways.....but was fighting poi changes. Not surprising since I noticed a problem with the rings while mounting them. I did have some one ragged hole 6shot quarter inch groups at 50 yards. I could definitely tell when those damn rings shifted. I just installed some leupold rings on the rail.....and can report these are light years ahead and are gripping the rail appropriately. Will shoot again in the morning. Would be a real bitch if I didnt have an eye for detail.....someone else could have possibly cursed and returned a fine piece of kit.
