Rapid Air Weapons HM1000x .30

So I got mine about a month ago and just wanted to do a review about it. This one I bought from R&L Airgun Supply so no long wait which was nice they had exactly what I wanted in stock. The gun got here and was nicely boxed and had the usual 5 shot at 30yds group and 10 shot string on reg from R&L which was nice to see. Gun came with a mag and orings and a very nice detailed owners manual. Now to the gun what a beast of an air rifle. The gun screams quality and I absolutely love the stock shape and the laminate color! Shouldering it even for such a heavy gun doesn't feel very heavy as it's very well balanced. Added a sling stud and put my 12x42 SWFA and got to shooting. This thing rocks! The magazines are Mrod like however there backwards on the left side which I like alot. I ended buying 2 extras and all function perfectly and have no play in them at all. Pretty expensive I would say but they are nice and 9 shot as well. Now on to the shooting this gun I learned loves to be held nice and snug no light holds but that's because this baby got some kick to her. The trigger is phenomenal and is set pretty light which im still getting used to. I got over a tin of pellets through it but I love the trigger now that I've gotten pretty well used to it. The side lever is one of the nicest ive felt. Very smooth and robust. Heck the gun in general is very smooth and robust! Now let's get to some of the good stuff.

The accuracy is outstanding and is getting better and better with more practice. This is a 27 shot group from all 3 magazines which is a full string at 25 yds. Lol talk about consitent. The upper most hole and farthest right are 2 pellets I pulled and if they weren't there I would have put all 27 in a dime but im OK with 25 in a dime ;D also this was prone off a bipod no rear bag or anything. Could have been even better im sure in a proper rest but just goes to show how accurate it is.

Here's some 50yd groups as well. Nice and tight 5 shot groups minus my first shot on the top one I pulled to the left and put the other 4 very tight. Oh well. One thing I gotta admit as well I sighted the rifle in once and has never shifted POI on me even with grabbing it by the barrel sometimes and bumping it accidentally and leaning it in my safe. Don't matter it's solid and zero POI issues.

I've looked up and the carbon fiber bottled .30s are supposed to get 3 mags which is 27 shots total at 880fps with the JSB 44gr pellets. Well that's exactly what I got and actually got 28 shots at alittle faster speeds so im very happy with that! After 28 shots it fell off the reg so im just keeping it to a 3 magazine fill.

Thanks Dirte Im excited to see how yours is when you get to shoot it finally!

Thanks Scott_MCT I definitely love mine and glad to hear you love yours and can't wait to get my .25 in May.

Thanks zx10wall in definitely ready to stretch it out however have had horrible weather here in WA lately with snow or rain and very few days without in the last few months and never a nice day on my day off so I can get to stretch it out. Soon hopefully though

Hey guys, glad to see almost everyone is happy with their RAW rifles. My order confirmation is dated 11/10/16 and I have not received my .30 LRT yet. Hopefully I will be seeing it in the next couple of weeks. Anxious to put it to work as a 75 and 100yd. paper punch. I enjoy reading your experiences. I'll get some targets posted and share my experiences asap. TOM

Ya....... I live in WA also and I'm tired of the snow!!!!!

Thanks all! Tomorrow looks like it should be nice after the rain early morning so maybe can get some time to stretch it out. Oh noise that's what I forgot. I think for a 79 fpe rifle it's pretty dang quiet. Not sure on the .25s but excited to see when I get mine.

Dirte not sure where your located but im in the Yakima valley and we've gotten over 30" of snow here which average is maybe 6". Then got over 6" of rain since October as well im real sick of it ready for some beautiful weather

Kennewick. I hope to get some time tomorrow also. You say Dairy...... Outlook area?

E.L.WernerI replaced Martins moderator with a custom Huggett and cut the sound in half on my .25. The impact with the target is louder than the hammer falling on the valve. It is astonishing what an improvement the Huggett made.

What is this custom Huggett you speak of? Can you post a pic? I don't have a RAW yet but it's on my list.
