Range finding questions

Hey man, thanks for watching our videos. My name is Keith. :).

Grim is right, if i am planning to take long shots i set up in a central area and range-find all perching points and try to memorize them. Like a mental range card. We are starting to show more “b-roll” recently and u will see me range and move as fast as i can. I try not to mess around because the birds we hunt are pretty skiddish now.

Also, the best tip i can give you was taught to me by Bob. If the farmer doesnt mind and you are setting up on a concrete silo, put some sighter shots on the side whenever the birds arent there. So that when they come you know your height is on and u have an idea for the wind call.

Also we move pretty fast because we dont use ballistic programs in the field. They are too slow to type in the data. We have turret tapes, stickers, and range cards made up. I can go from ranging to dialed and firing pretty fast this way.

Best

Keith
