Rabbit among my field targets while practicing

While practicing in my backyard, I watched this little guy hop around my backyard.
The rabbit was about 20 yards away. The spinner in the foreground is at 10 yards.
Shooting the LGU did not bother him at all as it was very quiet to shoot. I was shooting at the yellow field target at 45 yards.
Little guy hopped away to my neighbor's yard after a few minutes.

Saw the little guy again this morning sitting next to the 40 yard target. He dashed back into the brush when I got within five feet of him.

I had similar experience a few years back...

Always cool to see the bunnies whether it's hunting time or not.

Very nice pic!
I almost killed a squirrel while shooting at my 55 yard target. At 50x, your field of view is so small that you won't see much of anything. I grazed a squirrel by its head midway to the 55 yard target when it crawled into my line of fire. The only thing I saw when I shot was a squirrel out of focus jump into my field of view and run away.

Awfully close to that squirrel target.
Lead splatter can definitely ruin that rabbit's day.

Well, not a rabbit, but I was shooting metallic silhouettes, I hear my wife behind me say,

"Dont shoot the chicken."
"What do you mean 'dont shoot the chicken?' It is a chicken silhouet- Oh, you mean the real chicken . . . right."

I remember seeing a highlight on ESPN of a pitcher throwing the ball and hit a bird flying thru in a MLB game. I wonder if it ever happened to a airgun target shooter?
