R5M Standard .25 & slugs

I've tried a few out of all the EDgun's... the R5M included. The rat snipers worked ok, but were too loose in the mag. If you single loaded them, probably better. The one that worked the best were the H&N Grizzly. I had a couple fliers in mine, but generally were decent enough for small'ish game. They are so cheap, so worth a try. I've heard of a few people who love them in the R5.

Also to note... I shoot low power. I think you take me with a giant grain of salt on groups. Slugs need more speed to stabilize.

I've heard rumors of folks building slugs for LW barrels... we shall see.

I have a lelya 2.0 set low power 33fpe and it shoots slugs ok but slow , i like mp slugs for it.

I have a R5 30 caliber I shoot many types but my favorite is a arsenal 52 grain best , I do shoot 48,52,55,61,47 gr with it accuratly

I just got a R5m in .22 just tuning for slugs in hi power ,, I want to shoot 30 to 40 grainers in it

I do not use HN slugs they do not shoot good in any of my guns .

I have some LW barrels with no choke of course

yeah... my definition of low power is 12-20 ft lbs ;). I have my R5 up around 48 or so... maybe will give some of these a go. My context it's more about expansion and pass through than being/needing something for wind. I'm 99% shooting 30 yards and under
