Recently I purchased the R Arms Innovations RAI A005 (http://www.rarmsinnovations.com/shop/) New and Improved Adjustable Adapter and Stock Combo for my Prod. I received the parts and installed them last Saturday. Below is my review of the adapter and stock combo.
The combo parts are received in a USPS Priority Mail box.
Included in the box is the adapter assembly, UTG Pro AR-style collapsible stock, written instructions and a note of thanks (not shown).
The adapter assembly has two billet aluminum aircraft alloy parts that are CNC machined, with a Mil-Spec hard coat anodized black finish with laser engraving (per RAI website's description). The machined parts have an excellent fit and finish. The assembly also includes two lock washers and an Allen head cap screw. You take a 1/4" Allen wrench and unscrew the parts that are held together by a temporary 5/16" nut that is discarded.
The assembly is installed into the rear of the Prod receiver with a 1/4″ Allen wrench using the two lock washers and the cap screw.
You leave the assembly loose enough to be able to adjust the tilt angle/rotation and vertical height with the collapsible stock attached. Once you have the assembly in a comfortable shooting position you fully tighten the cap screw.
The finely crafted RAI adapter assembly and UTG Pro collapsible stock combo is a vast improvement over the OEM Benjamin Prod stock. This combo provides an adjustable length pull and comfortable cheek rest for children, ladies and men of all sizes so they can maintain a steady hold and clearly see through the Prod's optics. The Prod's "cool factor" is also raised a notch or two with an AR-style stock.
You can also purchase a side folding adapter if you want to be able to fold your stock for transport or storage. A folding feature wasn't important to me at this time so I didn't order the folding adapter part. Thanks for reading my review and I hope it's been informative. Bob
