Question to 25 cal Wildcat owners

"Grandfather"Guys, I’m a new 25 cal Wildcat owner and do not have a chronograph yet. My question is, how low should I go on the air pressure before I bring the cylinder back up to 230 bar. Thanks for the help, Tom..................................................Grandfather

Here is the correct answer to your question.

We are talking about opposing forces.
The regulator on an FX Wildcat is set to roughly 140-150.
They are all different within a few bar.

Once the pressure in your bottle/tube drops below the regulaters set pressure, you have fallen off the regulator.
This will cause your projectiles to hit low on target.
With other drift effects.

Your odds of making an at caliber group at 50 yards increase greatly if you do not " fall off the regulator.
That gun will get 40 shots on the regulator depending how the hammer spring is set.
Once your gauge registers 154 or so, , top the gun off. It will never fall off the regulator.
