Question-Have you taken “posed” pics of an airgun with the elements? Do share!

Typical of spring cleaning is the burn pile of brush and tree limbs that have been cut to push back the woods and re-claim our yard each spring/summer. So preparing for this coming weekend, which includes plans to burn down that ole’ burn pile, I remembered these pics I took some time back.

I bought this RAW HMX in .25 new and have enjoyed it to this day. I was burning down a stump when I had the idea that if I placed the rifle a safe distance away from the flames and I got myself and the camera down in the dirt at just the right angle I might get a good shot.

My favorite is this one (#4):

Looks like the flames are coming out of the top of the scope itself.

I moved around a bit and took a few more.

And one last one…

Made me curious – what other “elements” have you taken pics with your airgun? Please do not be shy and do post pics…..

Hah!

Sometimes I think that rifle should shoot flames. It is a laser and shoots a variety of .25 pellets very accurately. Keeper (at least for now). Thank you for the mention about the lot we are on. About 12+ years ago my wife and I moved ourselves from the south side of the city where it was growing by 5-10 new houses almost every week to a plot far north. In the woods for my wife, son and I to enjoy the stars at night and well to enjoy the land as well. Never been back since the move. Spoiled by the woods and water.

Found this pic from last fall - my trusty Marauder .25 atop an old Merc. outboard that has lost its foot. Got it from y neighbor to use as yard art. I also use it as practice to rebuild carbs and taught my son many things with that power head.

I took this picture after the first good session with my Maurader. I was a happy camper with the distance and accuracy of my FIRST PCP rifle...
