Question for Leshiy owners

Just received my Leshiy in .25 yesterday from EDgun West, thanks Brian!
Wondering how you guys that own one store your gun, with it folded or with locked stock? Quickly read through manual and didn’t see any info about it, not sure it really matters.
Didn’t have a chance to try it yesterday and today the weather on LI is miserable, hope to get some testing in this weekend. I liked this gun from the moment they were introduced and after getting the R5 and seeing the build quality that goes into the EDguns, I knew I had to have one. That’s a Hawke 2-7x32 AirMax on high rings, seems like it will be a good fit for this gun.

STOP! I’m already broke!
In the past I could never really justify the cost of your guns, or any gun over a thousand dollars for that matter. The R5 really caught my eye and I said, ahhh, what the hell, it’s only money right? Im glad I took the chance with my hard earned money, it is a beautiful gun, accurate and built very well! You definitely get what you pay for.

So do I store Leshiy folded or stock locked? Thanks!

Stored folded is no problem but remember that is what cocks the gun, so don't leave it stored in the folded position for too long. I find it best, even with the 350mm barrel set up to store it opened out having fired off the last shot. Just fitted my new handle by Steve Brown, beautiful craftsmanship.

Here's Ed's video of his hammer spring test Seems to be just fine folded.

typical Ed, there is no problem (denial) later on in model 2 it is corrected. lol

probably he has too much preload on it already so it wont make a difference. however when you optimize shotcount(tune it into the knee) it WILL matter.

perhaps this is why people keep saying they are close to running out of turns or how to change the spring itself.

...still waiting for the bipod rail to make it to the front, under the moderator.
