Question for LCS19 owners

First a disclaimer, I cannot own one of these due to local law and the full auto function.

Now the question.

Having owned the LCS for a time (please state how long), would you swap the full auto function for a match grade trigger?.

I assume the two are linked, ie the alleged poor performance of the trigger is due to the "full auto", but will happily stand corrected

Absolutely would trade the full auto for a true match grade trigger. Even to have the same trigger as my huben(2019) would be nice. The other advantages of the LCS compensate for the trigger though. Like the magazine for the .25 LCS is way better than the .25 huben. Not only can it accept longer slugs but .250 slugs aren’t loose fitting like they are in the .25 huben mag. The gentlemen who created the LCS did an amazing job fixing some of the huben’s shortcomings. That being said I would never get rid of my huben

I'm always surprised by people who complain about the trigger. I'd call it 'different', rather than 'bad'. I have no problem shooting good groups with it as-is. That said, I rarely use it in full-auto (probably 3 magazines) so I'd make the trade if I could try the match trigger first so I know that it's a real improvement. Oh yeah, had mine for ~6 months, maybe a little longer.

I've had mine for around 2-1/2 months, different is a pleasant way to describe the trigger. At first i was put off by the trigger. After about 50 rounds I learned the trigger, looong first stage, every so subtle second stage then breaks, trigger running around 1lbs 7oz.Rarely do I use full auto but it's a gas to flip the fun switch. I'll keep it as is, though I would like to keep my cake and eat it. I keep hoping a trigger upgrade is in the pipeline.

I've had my mine (25 cal) for 6 months. Yes I would absolutely give up full-auto for a match-grade trigger. I like the full-auto feature, and contrary to what some others have said I do occasionally find it useful for hunting/pesting, but I dislike the trigger so much when in semi-auto mode that I would give up the full-auto feature for a better trigger.

Spent all day with Steve shooting his. I'd trade full auto for a trigger without hesitation.

legonair, I would (if I could) prefer the LCS carbon bottle (in 580cc) over the K1s tank, the tanks 350bar fill is amazing but what to fill with?,

PS, I would be happy with either.

kpaoletti, click on my name.

thank you all for your thoughts/input Gentlemen (or ladies?).

Yea the bottle is a nice feature for the LCS. I think they have the double bottle adapter now😁

Have you seen the Huben bottle conversion that Travis(GTA) did? A few other guys have done the bottle conversion as well. They’re getting an insane amount of shots and have a bigger plenum than OEM. The price wasn’t too bad either for the conversion either.

I’ve never filled to 350 bar either as my compressor only goes to 300 bar. I rarely charge past 250 bar anyways

Still tinkering with my .25 LCS... I actually find the full auto quite fun n satisfying, especially in short bursts. I dunno, just scratches an itch nothing else does... add some slow mo tactacam and various targets, never seems to get old :D

Yes the trigger is not optimal, but certainly not untenable. I personally would not give up full auto for trigger. I have other guns for that.

I mean, 34 gr NSA slugs at 1016 fps (77 ft lbs) with reasonable accuracy in semi auto.... SICK! Some guy was posting on another forum he was flinging 55 gr boat tail NSA's at 70+ FPE with one hole groups at 50 yrds... dunno if he's FOS, but I ordered some heavier lead to test.

Just wish it wasn't so damn LOUD. (Emperor, take me away!)

This guy on YT got 130 fpe with the 55 gr NSA (I think his channel is Padagonia Airguns). I haven’t got to range test mine yet but did a quick test over the chrono and got it up to 100 fpe with the reg set at 180 bar (I forget where I had the power adjuster). ALOT of power potential with the LCS. Going to take a lot of coyotes with those 55’s

I as well would of traded for match trigger on the 25 cal. that I owned for only a couple months . The full auto was a blast, absolutely fun but only rarely used. But that sponge trigger on a gun that cost 2400 with the extras on semi auto I just could not get into it. The accuracy is there, the barrel and factory settings awesome. Pellet on pellet 50 to 75 yards for 4 maybe 6 shots in a row then the trigger abruptly travels twice the distance and your inches off . And sometimes a couple in a row then it’s barely put pressure on it and pow off the mark again. Awesome gun other then the trigger. Maybe another one someday but until then there are so many more I’ve got to get my hands on and feed the addiction.

I would have said I’ll take the match trigger over the full auto until I hit a big ground squirrel at 50 yards, FULL AUTO, .25 King Heavy at 925 FPS. OMG! I think it was 7 or 8 shots and 6 of them hit the squirrel. All I could think of as I was laughing like a mad man was “say hello to my leetle friend”. ;)
