Question for FX IMPACT owners

Hello there. Gotta quick question. What is the best way to take out the regulator piston (Delrod piston) without having the special tool supplied by FX? If you’re confused as to what I’m talking about, skip to 10:54 on this linked video.

Take off the regulator gauge and blow some air through the opening, but first make sure the regulator is uninstalled and place your finger over the regulator opening so the piston or washers don't go flying

Yeah I know I can do it this way, but my air tank does not blow air. Where can I get an adapter that allows air to come out the fill line?

I use my garage air compressor. 90 to 100 psi is as much pressure that you need to push the piston and washers out.

I have used forceps, with the tips covers in heat shrink or electrical tape, have also wrapped a cotton patch around the piston shaft and used the forceps without the tips covered, be very careful to not damage the piston shaft.
