Question for Air Venturi 4500 Compressor Owners

So it happened; I plugged it in, ran the cooling system, connected my gun, switched on the compressor and... nothing. It ran fine the day before. I did not mess with it after wards as time would not allow, I most likely will get o it next weekend.

Has this happened to you? I am hoping it is a relay from the auto shut off, so will start by by passing it and go from there.

I do have a Nomad as a backup, so I'm OK for air. Anyway, any tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I have the Hatsan lightning and I believe that the two are identical. And the same thing happened to me so I removed the switch and one of the four post connections was broken. On Amazon I was able to find an identical mariners four post compressor switch and it’s been doing fine ever since. Hope that helps you

The only problem I had with mine was my own fault.

I was using a short extension cord not grounded and used it several times then the next time the compressor wouldn't run but I think that the cooling system worked. I did some checking and couldn't figure it out. Come to find out I had plugged the non grounded plug in backwards. Turned in around and it has worked ever since.

That is probably not your problem but I thought I would mention it because you never know what might help someone

Thanks, I saw on another post that it may be a fuse, crossing fingers till I get to it. Thanks everyone for your input.

YAY! It was an easy fix. I checked the fuse and it was good, so I reinstalled it. Now it works! Apparently the contacts on the fuse/fuse holder needed cleaning.
