Those who already bought the new Marauder SAM, is the stock interchangeable with the regular Marauder stock?

I didn't buy one yet, but the standard syn/wood stock will not fit the SAM without modification. The gauge is in a different location, further away from the valve. The stock on the SAM is the same as the oem regulated Mrod, like the F&T.

I'd inquire with Boyd's on an unfinished Gen2 Marauder laminate stock specifically without the hole on the bottom.

Yo, I just checked out the Boyd's website and wasn't aware that laminates of quality are available at such decent prices. Any idea on the weight of these laminates vs the synthetic stock (1.25lbs)?

A "standard" G2 stock would fit if you bore a new hole for the gauge. On the syn, you would have to fill the cavity before boring. If I get one, will be doing that because of the 1lb weight saving. Crosman does plan in coming out with a syn stock sometime in the future, and was said to be $30 less.
FWIW: Boyd's Pro-Varmit, Varmint Thumbhole, Blaster, are within a few ounces of the Mrod wood stock. In most cases, onces heavier.
