i have 3 tins of JSB .25 cal 25,39 gr 2 tins have the same depth in skirt and the other is deeper. has anyone else come across this or can anyone tell me if JSB makes a lighter .25 pellet that these might be?

I do recall this being noted & discussed previously by other members. Not sure if they have new machines or perhaps re-designed the pellets a bit.

I noticed while sorting my.22 pellets that the regular Diabolo pellets had a deeper recess than the Redesigned Diabolo had. If they weigh the same maybe it is the same with what you have. The redisigned shoot better in my Impact.

You have to look at the sticker on the reverse side, at the top of the sticker it indicates the batch-year and at the bottom the number of the machine that manufactured it and the caliber in mm. That observation can provide the answer.

I received a stack(Box) of 5 tins of JSB 18gn exact jumbo heavy pellets. On the top of the box was the LOT number and pellet size. This means there is no reason the seller can’t give you this information other then not taking the time if you ask for it.

The last two numbers at the top "20" is the year of manufacture(2020) and the bottom "0" is the identification number of the machine with which they were manufactured.

Yup, from the same tin no less. This was in October 2017. Weight was the same and shot just as good.

Let me get this straight:
The four pellets in the magazine — the came from the same tin?
If that is true (plz confirm or disconfirm) — I don't know what to believe anymore about what that manufacturer prints and glues on their tins....?
