Good gracious this took a lot of time, effort, $$$ and I'm still just a little short, but....
I finally got all the stars to align for an early morning shoot with no wind and got some decent groups which were repeatable.
I measure this optimistically as 1 1/8", maybe you'll call it 1 1/4 -- with JSB 18.1 @ 915 fps
Here's how I'm set up:

Here's how I'm set up:
- Marmot Militia HF barrel
- Hill Valve/hammer/spring Kit (custom valve, spring, hammer etc.)
- Huma Reg set to 2100 psi
- Primary Arms 4-14XFFP R-grid (first focal plane)

All these mods excluding the scope cost me more than $500, and I'm still not sub MOA, LOL!! It's only money.
This has been quite a journey that sucked me completely into airgun world. And now I have a shooter, almost. Its been fun.
If you're a noob doing research just know that despite YouTubes, blogs and all the rest, my opinion is the Marauder .22 unmodified is a 50yard gun, not a 100 yard gun. Yes you can hit at 100, but not with consistency that will make you happy -- and certainly not with enough accuracy outside 50-75 to humanely take game.
More opinion: If you want a 100yd shooter for less than the $1300-$1500-$1900 class, consider buying a used Marauder and then spend the real money on all the modifications it will take to build it up. You can get yourself something done perhaps for $700 - $800 with some sweat equity. Learning the guts of these guns is instructive if you are getting into this sport. This is a postive side effect of this strategy.
Look forward to hearing comments and different opinions.
