I have a 56mm objective scope with a 30mm tube that I have mounted on my Marauder that I have modified into an absolute accurate beast. My current setup for mounting my scope is cheap dovetail to weaver adapters and cheap low weaver scope rings. The objective sits just shy of a 1/2" above the shroud. I'm looking for a quality set of rings that will possibly lower my scope (it doesn't have to, but I don't want to raise it anymore). I know UTG makes a set of high 30mm dovetail rings, but for $12, I'm not sure of the quality. I like the design of the BKL rings, but I'd have to get the dovetail to dovetail adaptors because they are not tall enough on their own and it would raise my scope height. I've looked at the FX adjustable rings, but I'm not sure they would be tall enough. I'm tired of looking at my Marauder and thinking of what a rig job my scope mounts look like when I'm getting sub 1/2" groups at 50 yards. Even if I'm the only one that notices it, I want a better quality scope ring setup. Any suggestions?
