For sure, Jason, makes sense. To the Nutcracker, I did purchase this exact probe, thru eBay. I believe it’s the same seller. I actually needed a separate extra probe as I recently put together a kit box that houses all whips, hoses, fittings, rangefinder, to tether and bench shoot, along with tuning sessions, so I needed one for that box. It actually fits tighter than the FX probe, but, as Jason said, the extra o rings probably don’t do much.
i have (4) o ring sealed, snap latch type compartment boxes, one for each make of gun. These store and keep organized any specialty tools, old parts when I mod a rifle, spare o rings, etc., and out of the four boxes I own, there is a probe in two of them. One for the hatsan Bully and one for the FX Wildcat. The other two boxes are for Marauder guns, so no probes needed.
I read somewhere of a guy who took a day to himself, out of his busy life, to go somewhere and shoot, only to accidentally leave his fill probe at home. Basically ruined the day. I don’t ever wanna do that, so no matter what I grab, I’ll be good to go.
Believe me, if I could have it my way, all pcp guns would be with a quick disconnect male fitting like marauders guns have.
