Yes, higher prices suck, but they're necessary. Between the HUGE increase in demand from new shooters entering the sport, general price inflation, and higher shipping costs, can you blame them?
Higher prices are what prevent shortages or rationing. Frankly, I don't necessarily mind having to pay a few extra bucks a tin if it means there are actually pellets available to shoot. I'm not happy about paying more, but the alternative is a situation where you have the equivalent of people waiting in line outside of Walmart at 5:00 a.m. for the CCI truck to bring.22lr like we saw back in 2012 and recently in 2020.
Furthermore, higher prices attract more resources into that sector which will mean JSB, H&N, or other manufacturers will be making more pellets to capitalize on the higher prices. The extra supply will bring demand back down and the market will equilibrate.
Like I said, it sucks, but sometimes ya just gotta trust the process.
