Pyramyd Air - Pellets You Buy IN STOCK Then JK

Wondering if I just got unlucky or if other folks have run into this...

Placed my order on 27MAR21. There were some pellet weights I wanted, but they were "OUT OF STOCK - PRE ORDER". So, I purchased a pellet weight that I would not normally end up using just to see if that weight might work and to get some lead to put through a new barrel.

I made sure EVERYTHING in the order was IN STOCK. Made the purchase. Received the order confirmation email. All good.

Well, not really. It's been 2 weeks, and it seemed odd that the pellets had not arrived. Then I looked back through my emails and noticed I had not received a "shipped notice". DOH! So I looked through all emails to see if I missed something. Nope. Then I logged into my PA account to check the order and saw why the shipment had not been sent.

The item I didn't really want that was IN STOCK when the order was placed, is now on BACKORDER with Estimated in-stock date 04-26-2021. Aaaarrrggghhh!!! 

What is everyone's experience on the "estimated in-stock dates"? Are they accurate or are they just something PA puts out to keep you from cancelling your order?

From a customer service standpoint, shouldn't PA have sent an email immediately to advise of the stock change situation? Or maybe shipped the IN STOCK items of the order and eaten the shipping on the IN STOCK - JK - BACKORDERED item?

And yeah...I am just a little pissed.
