Pyramyd Air Pellet Shipment Packaging Change.

On reason we buy pellets from this vendor is the great foam protection that surrounds the pellets during shipment. My last order of eight tins came wrapped in a small piece of brown paper and all tins were loose. So of course you know the tins were damaged. I called and was informed that was now the method for shipping pellets. Any one else received pellets from Pyramyd Air or AirGun Depot like this? I just cannot believe I was given the correct packaging information. I figured they had hired help for the holiday period and thus my problem.

I have received one package wrapped weird from them once quite some time back. All others before and after had the foam packing.

One of the reasons I order from them is knowing they are packaged in a way that they will likely reach me undamaged. If they stop that practice I will stop buying from them as there are a couple of other vendors that use the foam packing and they will get my business.

when they get backed up they probably go pick up a few 'will work for food' guys and bring them in and get them a happy meal lol

dixieduo,

I also ordered and received 12 tins of pellets from Pyramyd Air as well and 4of the 12 tins were damaged as you mentioned as well. I wasn't feeling so well on this past Thursday and Friday because I took my booster shot and I know that they're closed on Saturdays. Eight on the 12 tins were loose in the box with brown paper laying on top of them. I've had a rough weekend and calling them slipped my mind on today but that's not good customer service and it sucks big time. Not good Pyramid Air if you're listening and I'm not the only one though it seems.

I received an order of five tins of pellets from PA last week and they were packed really well in the black foam material like always. I have more on the way that should get here Wed or Thursday. If they are packed differently I'll let ya know..........However, I will never order pellets from Midway again. Had a great price on H&N FTTs so I ordered four tins. Came loose in a box and EVERY tin was literally crushed.

Pyramyd Air contacted me via text and said the pellets should have been packed in foam. Hopefully they can solve the problem.

Hi everyone. I can assure you that there has been no change to our industry leading pellet packaging. As always, if you receive damaged pellets from us please just get in touch and we will take care of you. We do from time to time run into training issues with new packers in our warehouse, it is very rare but everyone is human and when you contact us about improperly packaged pellets we trace the order back to the packer and conduct training on the spot. If you received poorly packaged pellets recently please reach out to our team with your order number; we offer SMS, Email, Chat & Phone options so it's pretty easy to choose the best method for your convenience.

I received a call from Pyramyd Air quality control department this morning offering to replace the damaged tins. I'm pleased they are going to send replacements.

Not trying to hijack the post here but I have a question. I normally order pellets from PA but last week when I tried to order the ones I wanted only had the Information button. So, I ordered from Utah instead. Somebody tell me, what kind of packaging should I expect from them? Thanks

The ones I got from Utah were same foam as Pyramid but no top cardboard. Got here just fine. that was 4 different shipments.

I stopped buying FX Hybrids from PA because the packs were not wrapped and the slugs were scattered through out the packaging. I did email PA about it to no avail . Now I buy them from a different vendor , problem solved . If they would stop using the foam for pellets tins that would be the end of any future business transactons with PA .
