Pyramyd Air

So Trenier, my normal source for pellets was out of the JSB MK2's so I decided to order from PA.

A $160 order and only 2 tons were packaged properly, and undamaged.

I have emailed them and am waiting on a reply. The kicker is that I I have more coming from them tomorrow.

Val,

That's insane! I've had tins arrive when ordered from other [un-named] places, but never from Pyramid Air.
I had a few tins of Hades shipped a few months back, all wrapped and stashed in padded foam,
and just had another order of 4 tins of .25 JSBs shipped last week, and they were all in padded foam.
Not only that, but, they were also double-boxed!

For yours to ship loosely like that, with No padding, is just crazy, and I'd most definitely let them know!

From My experiences, they've always been great at making things things right,
so Hopefully they'll take care of you!

Sorry to see this, as I know how much of a buzzkill it is to have things arrive like this.

Best of luck!

Sam -

I didn't think to snap a pic of the way that my pellets always ship,
but, I did find a pic online of how PA has always shipped their pellets to me..

They should come nestled inside of a form fit piece of foam - like this..
If multiple tins are shipped, each one is also separated by a layer of cardboard..
That prevents any sort of movement.. They also had crumpled paper, etc. in the box.
And as mentioned above, with my most recent order - it was also double-boxed.

I have an order 'from PA' coming Monday. Same pellets. BUT, they were shipped from North Salt Lake, UT. That has me curious (if not concerned). Not only has PA's shipping time frame changed (5 days from 2-3 for the free shipping deal), it seems the fulfillment process has as well. Check the tracking info and let us know where they shipped from if you don't mind.

Hummm....interesting because all pellets in a tin I ordered from Pyramyd Air were packaged like this..........

I recently received an order of AA domes and after several years of ordering from PA I got ONE tin with a dented bottom.........

9 pellets from the above tin had deformed skirts........

Considering how PA packed the pellets I've bought from them I'm pretty sure that the tin was dented before packing in the foam!

the reason they came from Utah is Airgun Depot and Pyramid have the same ownership (at least the major ones) and the utilize both companies shipping facilities. I live in the east and would prefer the delivery’s where coming from Ohio. Utah added a minimum of 2 days to the shipping

I received 4 tins from P.A. this week. All were packed in foam. The shipping time was quick. Could not ask for more. I also received a package of poorly packaged pellets from Utah Airgunners a month ago. They had almost no packing material at all. They had been beat to death. I complained. They sent a return label and replaced them with a properly packaged shipment. I was satisfied with the second try. They claimed it was a new guy in the shipping department.

I believe you ordered those from PA, but I'll bet they did not come from PA.

Since I go through at least a tin (500) or 2 a week of either JSB .17 8.44's or JSB .22 181.13's, it seems like I'm a sucker for those "15% OFF WITH FREE SHIPPING OVER $150" deals. Not to mention the "buy 3 get 4". EVERY so often I don't get the pellets surrounded in foam. Those that I do get in foam could survive a trip over Niagra Falls. Those that aren't do not originate from Solon, OH.

One time I had a few rather dented cans, (NOT from Solon) and inside there were a bunch of pellets that did NOT look very happy. I called PA. They sent me replacements. No questions asked.
