Pyramid Air and H&N

So I have around 40 cans of HN slugs that I bought from Pyramid Air and shot a quit a few tins in the beginning and all was fine but then got a .25 gun and was pulled away from the .22 for 3-5 months.

Go to shoot the .22 and all the slugs look corroded. So I email HN and nothing. Email pyramid and they tell me they guarantee products for 60 days and you can not return open tins.

I have only opened 3 tins and am hesitant to open more in case they reply and will make it right.

Anyone have this issue with the HN .22 slugs? Oh I did I mention how bad they shoot now?

I bought so many because they did shoot awesome when they were still black and not corroded.

I believe it is a new coating. They fire pretty dang good with that coating on them. Try it! The lube tends to leave some deposits on the fx magazine but they are easy to wipe off. The coating looks dry but they leave what appears to be a wet lube in the magazine.

Sorry that they are shooting badly for you. Makes me wonder if the would fire better without the coating as I never had the prior version to compare to.

Got a update here, Pyramid Air wrote me back and said they would not take them back because of the 60 day guarantee policy.

On the up side H&N responded and said the slug tarnish was unacceptable and promptly sent me 40 can straight from the factory free of any charge!

Nice to see a company stand behind their product and make things right in such a messed up world!
