Pyramid Air

I ordered a Maverick through these guys on Dec 25th. I used Affirm payment for the purchase as I did not want a credit card charged up front. So when my rifle came in in March, the loan from Affirm, which had not been redeemed yet by PA had expired, and I did not know this. When I went to check on my order, PA had cancelled it without nary a word to me about ANY problem with my order. As a result, I'm on hold again for the next shipment, whenever that will be. I have not had any updated shipping information since the beginning of March and this time they did redeem the loan and have my money. I believe this was VERY poor customer service by not giving me a chance to provide an alternate form of payment when PA discovered the expired loan. ***This is to PA: If you cannot guarantee delivery of my order within the next 30 days , then I will cancel this order and demand a full refund of all my monies. I wanted to try and order from someone here in Ohio, local, than someone out of state for such a large purchase. Guess that backfired!

So to follow up with this, I emailed PA several times today concerning my rifle and on each reply looked like it was scripted and contained wrong information concerning my rifle order. For example, my rifle was referred as a 22 cal when it was actually a 30 cal. Maybe not much difference to someone who may not know what end of a rifle to hold. Then, another email said something about not charging my credit card till the rifle had shipped when in fact an Affirm loan had been redeemed by PA for this order and I had just made the first payment of $400 on April 2nd on this loan. So they already had my money! So when I got home from work, I called, talked to a lady by the name of "Tonie", who was very kind and somewhat apologetic and maybe a little frustrated herself by all of us calling about orders we been waiting on for months without even a delivery date after nearly 5 months. So the final straw she couldn't tell me anything about delivery dates so at that time I cancelled the order. The Affirm loan was immediately refunded back to Affirm, paying off my loan, now I'm waiting on Affirm to refund my $400 payment minus the minuscule amount of interest that might be due on a 1 month old loan. After this, my phone rang and it was a man for PA that was neither apologetic but wanted to argue with me over the fact that they cancelled my order back at the end of Feb with nary a word to me about any problems with my order forcing me to get back in line again in order "to preserve your place in line". I told the guy that called me, that they need to contact customers after every 4 weeks to reassure them and give them an option to bow out if there is no word on delivery instead of leaving people hanging for months with no updates.
