Pulsar/RW standard

I am in the same boat Lopey15 and I too am a big fan of .22 caliber. I seriously considered a Pulsar for pesting and think it would be a great platform but its too heavy for me to tote around all day in the field so I am considering other rifles for hunting. Although it may work great for 100 yd BR shooting? I think longer barrel conventional rifles are more the norm for 100 yard BR shooting as they can sling lead at higher velocities that some projectiles prefer. My plans to join the "pack" should materialize in the very near future for BR shooting. However, my research continues to find the perfect bull pup style hunting rifle to take up residence in my safe.

Sounds like a good plan...as I read more and more everyday I am getting very interested in the competition side of airgunning. Right now I mostly hunt with my airguns and do very little paper shooting. I live in west texas and there are no clubs close to me so basically I am on my own as far as the competition side. I wouldn't mind making the drive to RMAC or EBR but it would be nice to get my feet wet before I headed to events such as these. For now I think I will make the jump on a new gun and start practicing!
