Pull the Trigger: Bought a Taipan Vet Compact in 25 cal

A regional dealer offered me a good price on a new Taipan Veteran Compact / Short in 25 cal. With all the add ons the price was still cheaper than the local price for just the gun, significantly enough I couldn’t pass up the deal.

So the rifle should arrive some time next week, and it is the very last rifle I purchase for a while. The Taipan will be my second travel rifle along with my FX Impact Compact in .22 cal.

Also, I am glad to be getting a Czech rifle. My grandparents are both Czech, so it is an insult to them, IMHO, not to have a gun from CZ in the collection after I sold my CZ pistol years back. (Yes an excuse, but a “good one” ;) )

I will post photos of the rifle when I get it.

Trust me I will for sure to the pictures of the gun. I am actually looking for recommendations around the $250 / 220 euro range. I thought of the Tac Vector Veyron scope in 3 to 12x 44. My impact compact will be the long ranger and the Taipan Vet for the close work, so I don’t want a huge scope.

I have a credit at Krale for a 130 euros so I thought an optisan but the Vector is supposed to be a good scope. @matt247365 do you have any recommendations?

I don't have any specific recommendations except to get something light, compact and the highest quality glass you can afford.

I bought 3 days ago Falcon 3-18x50 FFP from mundiliar. I got it for 3 days. Have look on Joe (cyclop videos) he tested falcon optics. I put it on Taipan.
