Proxxon IBS/E or Dremel 4300

Hello friends,
Often you have to grinding, polish, clean or cut off "something" in our hobby and wonder which of the two machines to buy?

Of course, because they are not so cheap and I wish I could use them for many other things in the everyday life at home, I wonder if they will do my job?

I wonder mainly because of the video clips I have seen to be used for metal cutting or metal drilling but everywhere they say they are basically for subtle work like engraving, carving, and so on!

Any tips on which of the two brands to stop? And most of all, whether they become repairs (small because of the small size of the tools) work at home or are they just fine works?

Thanks in advance!

Hey Svilen, I have that model of Proxxon that I bought used on Ebay I used it maybe an hour total and it stopped working. I could not get it going again but I think I just had a bad one, it is a beautiful tool to use and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another I also have the flexible 18 inch or whatever that is extension on it and it's high quality. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Proxxon. An upper end Dremel brand I think would be good too, just never owned one.

You would find uses for it and there's many bits/attachments for it available cheap. I bought a wooden box of probably 100 attachments for about 20$ and some of it is crap but some of it was good enough quality. Proxxon comes with many different collars too so you can fit many sizes of shaft.
