Protecting Sunflowers on my dove field

We just plant them for dove fields. It’s gotten so that I need to plant 5 times what I have been planting due to other wildlife feeding on the seed. All three fields are loaded with turkeys now feeding. The turkeys use their necks to bring down the stalks and get the sunflower heads on the ground. It’s always something.
