Product warranty on purchase from ebay?

Hello colleagues,

I have an important need for information - Because I can not order the optics I like to Bulgaria from anywhere I can from ebay but I am worried whether after the purchase will the warranty between me and the manufacturer?

It turned out that optics: Athlon Argos 6-24x50 FFP I can buy only from ebay because no one else is delivering to Bulgaria .... :(

The seller claims to have a lifetime guarantee but until now I have not taken anything so expensive and fragile and I do not want to no have a guarantee afterwards.

Nornally, ( US eh ) as long as it is an authentic product ( not one of many clone/knockoffs sold there) you would still have a manufacturer warranty.

As in I buy a benjamin marauder, they run off the serial number & as long as it's thiers and within time limit NO problem. Same with say UTG scope's Hawke, other.

Buy a fake and your finished. Thin luupy scopes & such.

But,

Why the hassel?

It likely is illegal to export one from the US ( if so do NOT use any US seller even if they will ship- if warranty and out of jail are important-.

If the restriction is on your end, seems that would be an issue also.

If it's legal ( and at extra cost) airgunexporter will deal with most any accessory also.



Be certain it is authentic.

Be certain it can be easily/legally shipped.

You should be fine.

I did not understand much of what you wrote because my English language is weak but here in BG it is forbidden to transport only guns and firearms. Optics and so on are no problems.

Athlon is available in eBay by America's (!?) basically...and obviously there is a way ...

As for whether optics is authentic product...I can only guess and hope ...

Where did I search and ask - only from eBay I can buy it and that's why I ask for advice.

I know that there are limitations in UK for optics over x9 (for America I do not remember ...) but once it is available in eBay I think it is not a problem to buy but I do not know how the question of the Athlon guarantee and that is why I asked.

Whether it is legal or not...the seller will know about it..., as far as Bulgaria is concerned - there is no prohibition of the law in terms of optics.

Here in BG the problem will be if I buy from outside the European Union that I will pay customs which fee is not small but only so possible ...
