Friends,
I recently purchased the Competition Electronics ProChrono Digital Chronograph, Indoor Light System & Digital Link Bluetooth adapter. In short, I am very impressed with this system both for ease of use/set up + functionality.
The software was easy to install on my iPhone 6 and the velocities were not only displayed on my phone but announced out loud after each shot. Further, you have the option of exporting the data as text, CSV or PDF. Here’s a screenshot of the PDF from my earlier (brief) test string:
Now that I’ve got this new piece of gear, I can finally get my Bantam dialed in.
Of note, since I was experimenting and just doing an initial test, for shots 7 & 6 I changed the power selector (shot 6 was on medium and shot 7 was on high).

Yes those are unusually large deviations as I changed the power selector for those shots. I’ll do a full and proper string after I get my tank back from the dive shop tomorrow.
NoLandBeyond – thanks, will do!

What pellets were you using for the test?February 19, 2018 at 6:34 pm Linkhawkeye – I’m using Air Arms Diabolo Field .22 (16 Grains, Domed). The accuracy is good so far but I haven’t tested them much at distance. I hope to have more data by the weekend (accuracy results, a full shot string, observations, etc.).

This rig is my light duty pest bird / dirty bird gun for quietly picking them off the feeder. I have a.25 Veteran on order for the heavy stuff (raccoons, opossums, fox, etc.)

Here’s the data (Digital Link & ChairGun Pro respectively). I’ve only figured this stuff out on my own an am always open to helpful input.I had a little time to do a longer string today and make an initial range card for my Brocock Bantam Hilite .22, on the low power setting, from a 240 BAR fill, shooting Air Arms Diabolo Field 16 grain (domed pellets). _ This rig is my light duty pest bird / dirty bird gun for quietly picking them off the feeder.
