Problems with ATN X sight 4 Pro Help needed

Guys I've got a new X sight 4 Pro and it's got me pinned to the ground trying to set it up. I've accomplished mounting and zeroing the scope but I can not figure how to pair it to my I phone. My two intentions with this scope are shooting at night which I think I have managed to figure but I also wanted to record and down load to my phone.

I'm on the ATN owners forum but I thought perhaps some one here can coach me as well.

This computer based stuff is so darned frustrating.

I have the X-SIGHT 4K 5-20x. I put in a microSD card in the slot on the scope and formatted the card inside the scope through the scope menu. Then I just press the right button when I want to record. I don’t use the live view for the phone. I paired up my phone once to rename my profiles but that’s it. To review my footage, I just pop out the microSD card and use an aftermarket card reader to upload the videos to either my iPhone or my PC or Mac for review.

I skipped the live view feature as it eats up battery life on the scope, it’s buggy, and can cause crashes with the scope.

This is the card reader I use:

suntrsi TF/SD Card Reader Compatible with iPhone/OTG Android/Computer, Micro SD Card Reader Compatible with iPhone/iPad Charging,Compatible to SD Card Camera Adapter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D72L4Q7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_wSYvCbK93AAXW

It uses a free app on the iTunes Store called X-Disk to copy videos and photos from the microSD card to the iPhone. No app needed to copy videos or photos from card to computer.

If I’m having any pairing issues with my iPhone I just restart the scope and the phone as well. The one issue I had, which was hit and miss, was downloading the videos to my phone once paired. I was told my several people to just turn off the cellular data when trying to transfer videos to my phone. Also, it is VERY slow downloading video files so just be patient.

Welcome to the Frustrated ATN Owners Club. WiFi connectivity= freeze is a well known issue. I have had the same issue since the day I got my scope. I patiently waited for firmware updates which did not fix the issue and waited past my return window. Now I’m stuck with this scope. If you bought the scope to view on your phone or tablet. TAKE IT BACK!

Otherwise use it for just a scope that records video, take the sd card out and view on your computer. And for the ballistics calculator and pairing with their range finder which works great. But WiFi connection is no good and I don’t think it will be for a long time. I swapped my scope 4 times. They all did the same crap. It’s not the scope. It’s the software/ firmware.

I keep mine on a dedicated gun (Diana Skyhawk) which is not my primary gun. It’s a dedicated gun for night time hunts and for recording pigeon shots. On my primary guns I keep traditional scopes.
