Problem with my .22 flashpup

If you feel it's a defective gun then return it ask for a shipping label because you would have to replace the hammer spring with a matching weaker one from ACE rather than chop couple coils from your factory spring and run a HUMA regulator (specifically 2 different types buy the correct one or it won't fit!) to get it flatter shooting if that doesn't adjust low as it is.

I would take that factory hammer spring out bring it to ACE HARDWARE (yea ACE is the PLACE) match it with 3 other springs of equal outer diameter have a clerk help you if you need help. Get equal or longer ones in different tension one equal strength springiness one a little weaker probably coils could be a little farther apart and or thinner material wire and a third a little weaker than that too.

I would never cut the original factory hammer spring just measure it against your same strength ACE spring and cut it 2 coils less so it's shorter (never cut the original spring) try it in the gun chrony. There should be some difference.

If that doesn't work use the next weaker spring cut identical length with the factory spring and try shoot chrony. That definitely should do something.

Still not working to get flatter curve even when adjusted all the way backed out? Cut 2 coils from that same spring and repeat chrony.

Same with the weakest spring but by this time you may start to get valve lock you might want to start at a lower fill pressure chrony first.

If these don't do well then order a correct fitting HUMA regulator for your gun there's 2 different sizes so order the correct one based on which wood or synthetic stock you have.

At least you got the weaker springs now which you would have to buy anyway.

Seeing as how we have know idea if your gun came out of the box jacked up because you didn’t establish a base tune back in 2019, you need to get some advice from a Flashpup expert. Go over to GTA and contact Rallyshark. You will want to have a couple shot strings at different hammer settings written down for reference. Otherwise, we can throw stones at this for a week. If Flashpups aren’t notorious for this type of problem, you could have had a valve, port alignment or some other issue right from the getgo.
