Priest info please

Remember you have two options the standard and the HP. I'll just talk about the HP

Expected shout count, these numbers are an estimate because you can change the regulator pressure and get more or less, but is a good ball park value

- 25 cal, 80 shots

- 22 cal, 150 shots

Accuracy should be great, they are using CZ barrel for these calibers, 30 uses a different caliber a LW manufactured for them. If you are thinking shooting slugs, the current barrels are not designed for slugs but they are designed for long range shooting with pellets. So if you did you homework you should be able to group great at 100 yards, with .25 and .22 caliber.

Hope I answer most of your question but if not, keep asking

Ok thanks on the HP 👍what’s the other option

Yote,They come in two models, but if you wanted to get technical they come in three versions:

1. Loaded Model: Has externally adjustable regulator and externally adjustable hammer spring tension and the upgraded 500cc Carbon fiber air tank

2. Standard Model: This has the fixed Reg at 125 bar and 350cc aluminum tank and non adjustable HST.

3. The HP model: It is exactly the same as the standard version but has the 150 bar regulator instead of the 125 bar regulator.

I have the HP model in .22 (option 3 on my list) I get around 65 shots on the reg. This is about 46 fpe with jsb 25.4 redesigns. If you get the loaded version your shot count will be closer to what Orion quoted you.

If you buy the standard version in .22 cal from AOA it will come in the form of the HP version. If you are looking to shoot coyotes and bobcats I would get the .25 maybe even the .30.

Thank you both for your information .Now I’m really confused on weather to get 22 or 25 cal.My wild cat puts out roughly 31 ft lLbs with 18 gr pellets it has no problem with clean kills on woodchucks out to 60 yards or so.So now you two guys have me thinking. The HP in 22 puts out 46 ft Lbs useing a 25 gr pellet I would think that would be enough for yotes and cats at a reasonable distance . Your thoughts would be appreciated Thanks again

My advice is to get .25 cal and later down the road you can buy a new caliber kit for either .30 or .22 the kit will cost you less than 300 check in AoA what I see expensive are the magazines and you will need those too. But I think .25 to begin with and even maybe you will love it and stick with that caliber, that’s what I did for the iguanas...

I’m waiting for the Prophet too, I think it will be release after IWA....

I had the 25 cal hp version and you can't go wrong the gun is super solid especially being able to easily adjust the power output. I had it pushing 60 ft lbs easily. For me though I prefer the side lever cocking versus the direct bolt so I sold mine in anticipation of the prophet. They used it at ebr in Arizona last year and did really well with it. They left one with Jim Chapman who made a video with it, and it is shooting the 22 cal jsb redesigned at 850 fps which is insane.

Yeah I am good with the 25 as it will go up 80 ft lbs and shoot slugs.

If you are talking about the Priest doing 80fpe, I think you are being overly optimistic. My .25 maxes out around 60fpe with a 160b reg setting. Shooting slugs out of that tight choked CZ would be a chore. I just put a slug barrel on mine after trying a few through the CZ. The CZ barrel is a spectacular pellet shooter though.

If you don’t mind me asking what make do you have and what’s the Accuracy out to a 100 yards with pellets

I didn’t get my Priest dialed in until hunting season started. At that point I had only tested out to 50. I took the gun to my camp to shoot during our down time. My dad and I shot walnuts off our neighbors tree at 102yrds without much problem. My gun came shooting 920fps. I had to back it down to 895-900. Then it really started to shine. I can shoot a hole in a soup can at 50 then just keep putting pellets in the hole. Once the hole opens up a little, it just looks like I am missing the can.
