Priest 0033 Review

I tried and tried to copy and paste a write from another forum but I am not having any luck. The above link goes to a pretty detailed review I gave.

As for the questions above.
~I like the gun. I am not in love yet and who knows if I will get there but I am really digging the downrange performance of this gun. Got my first dove on the first day of having the gun and holy crap is the .25 an effecitive tool. Especially when it hits where you want it to.
~I don't intend on using the bipod as I bought this gun to be a walking hunter but I don't like it so far to the rear. It just isn't as stable as a traditional rifle. Sound level with the fatboy is nice... Actually very nice. I don't have a good comparison for PCP but it sounds like my sons Crosman 760 Pumpmaster at 10 pumps. It is really very quiet an only the shooter is going to notice the reg squealch. I had my shot shoot the gun while I stood in front of and to the side of the gun about 10 feet off. It is quiet enough for me and then some.
~I dismantled the gun because I wanted to know how the gun worked. I am a maintenance/engineering guy by trade and RTI hasn't posted an exploded diagram yet. I am actually really disappointed with them about that but I needed to know how it worked to get a better understanding of the gun and its capabilities. I did learn something though. That the safety detent and spring are on the left side of the pistol grip and will go bouncing about the dining room if you aren't careful and know it is coming. But hey, I did find it after all so I have that going for me which is nice. One thing I don't like is that if you took a pin punch and pushed fire button it could go all the way through the gun. And if you pull hard enough on the safe button you can also remove the safety. Not cool but it works. Just keep an eye on the safety selector that you didn't get too carried away with your putting the weapon on fire... the selector may go past the detent and with a pull could come right out.
~The gun is simple. STUPID SIMPLE. That has advantages and disadvantages. Between my write up and everything else I have said you will know what I think about it. In a sentence, I like the gun and there are some things a buyer needs to know about its function but at the end of the day she performs and performs well downrange.

Not much to report but I did snag my first quarry with it today. A rabbit at about 30 yards. I am liking this Priest more and more as time goes on. I have learned one thing but it isn't necessarily about the Priest in particular. If there is anyone out there who is thinking of getting a .25 but on the fence cause they feel like their .22 is good enough. Get a .25. You'll like it. I promise. It hits and hits hard. I am honestly shocked at its effectiveness.
