Pre-ordering the Umarex M3 Grease Gun Soon

I was looking at them this morning. I'm on the fence between the M3 and the MP40. 

Love those things, they look pissed.

I was looking at the airsoft one too, I figured it would have more uses cause you can shoot people with it, plus ammo would be cheaper, and no CO2 needed.

i think the Sturmgewehr mp44 is bad ass too.

Does it come with those faux 7.92x33mm rounds too?

MG42 would be bad ass. I like how the real ones sound. Looks a bit like a Star Wars weapon.

AFAIK, the M3 isn't out yet. Only availability date I've seen on them is 1/12/22 and I'll be surprised if we see them by then. (I have one on preorder, too.)

I have the MP40 and it's a hoot to shoot. Just got the Thompson but haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. 

If you want one of these things, I'd suggest getting it ASAP. They're made in Taiwan and who knows how long stuff from there will be available.

Just got mine. Pics here:

I was a 19 Echo back in the day and we were actually required to qualify on the beast. It was surprisingly awkward to carry. The stock felt flimsy and it was easy to accidentally drop the magazine. Accuracy wasn’t too bad once you learned to shoot short bursts.

I thought the MP 40 as cool. When the Tommy gun came out I said when they make a Greasegun I’ll have to get one.

Guess I’ll have to get one now.

I'd recommend getting your order in as soon as possible. They're made in Taiwan, and who knows how long they'll be available?

Didn't they first announce the M3 Grease gun like a year ago?
Based on the few reviews I've seen, it's internals are the same as the MP40 repro which seems to be well regarded & reliable. I like it and have been tempted to order one when they show in stock.But it's been sitting in 'pre-order' status for a long time.

Yes, it was announced back in the spring/summer of 2021.

I don't know where you've seen reviews of it. The internals might be similar to the MP40, but I doubt they're the same. They seem to be two completely separate guns. I can tell you for a fact that the magazines don't interchange.

I got mine last Friday, after receiving an email from Pyramid asking if I still wanted it. At the time, the website was still saying the due date was Nov 28. I got mine on the 25th. Checked the site that day and it said 1 in stock. Right now they're saying the due date is Dec 12. If you want one, I'd recommend ordering one ASAP.
