Pre-Ordered FX Wildcat Distribution

I got my call today! Right after Surgery Wisdom tooth removal (x4)! I was so doped up that I had to call back to find out just what I ordered! LOL! Luckily, I wrote up a Q+A for my wife in case they called while I was down. So, I was able to keep track of just what was going on.
I ordered ten Wildcats of both calibers, 140 magazines, 16 fill probes and foster quick connects, 85 tins of smooth twist pellets, and I'm having it all overnighted! Damn! Percocet is really good stuff! :D
I would ROFL but it hurts too much!

Ok, seriously, I did get the call! I was #4 on the list. I got ONE .25 cal rifle, a fill probe, foster quick connect adaptor, and one extra magazine ($40). All in all, that stuff added $125 onto my balance(Shipping included).
No single shot trays are available at this time. I do not remember when I put my order in exactly. I'm thinking it was within 2 weeks of when they started taking deposits but, the drugs! oh, the DRUGS! :)

YEEHAA! Mine is on the way!
Good luck to everyone else getting their phone calls!

My phone just rang. AOA was excellent to work with. A few tidbits for you...

My order was on 3/24 and I believe I was the 24th Wildcat order.

Additional mags are $40. More importantly they also have a custom-made FX case specific to the model (22 or 25) for $109. It has custom inserts specific to the Wildcat. Pretty cool. I could not resist.

He said that he hoped that they would get mine shipped by the end of the week. They are testing them as fast as they can.

Hope your phone rings soon.

HERE'S A BIG UPDATE AND SOME Q+A!
This is all info from a phone call, today (6/2), with AoA. I tried to get as much info as I could so that I could post it here and maybe save them some phone calls. You should hear it! That place sounds like a factory in the background! Those guys are really BUSY trying to get these orders ready for shipment to us!

The .22 Wildcats can use a stacked shroud like the Bobcats do. You can add baffles to the stock end at $25 per baffle.

The .25 Wildcats do not have a shroud available for purchase. Reportedly, they are pretty quiet stock. They use a shroud end cap the same as the Royale's have. So, it is possible to put a shroud on the end but, they (AoA) do not have anything available right now.

At this time, the first bunch is sold out! NOW, wait just a minute! That doesn't mean they finished making phone calls! The testing is still going on full speed and the phone calls are still being made. If you got one of the first 75 (or whatever it was) then you should expect a phone call soon. If not, you'll have to wait until the next shipment comes in. And, if you ordered from a different retailer, they should be getting theirs soon as well.
Reportedly, If you ordered a .22 and have not received a phone call. You will, unfortunately, have to wait until the next shipment. Hey, Don't shoot the messenger! I'm just passing along information! Phone calls for the .25's are still being made as of todays conversation. Patience, my friends.

Yes, you CAN change caliber if you wish to. Here's the catch... If you choose to change caliber you will be put at the bottom of the list as if it was a new order. That way no rifles get taken away from anyone else in line.

Shipping. I was a bit disappointed at this. Apparently, no Wildcats are in the mail to customers today. Here's why, the testing process that AoA does is quite extensive. They want to make sure that their customers will be happy with what they receive. So, they're trying to find any defects now to save everyone time, money, and aggravation. So, they do their testing in huge batches. Once the testing is done, they have to get all the rifles back in shape in order to ship. This means putting on the cheek rests and similar type assembly stuff. Which, again, they do this in batches. Doing it in large batches is good for us because it adds to consistency. VERY MUCH HOPEFULLY, they should be going out by the end of this week to us! No promises, of course! But IMO, the more time they have off the phone testing, the faster we'll get them.

If you are waiting for something OTHER than a Wildcat, they are going through the same process with their other rifles too. It's not all Wildcats, Wildcats, Wildcats.

That's the latest! I hope this clears up some questions and brings some type of closure to those in waiting.
Happy Waiting! Err, well you know, good luck anyway!
:)

Just got off the phone with Precision Airguns and they have informed me that they are expecting their FX Wildcats to arrive on Monday, I had put money down on the .25 cal back in early April! Added two mags for $40 each and a set of FX No Limit 30mm scope rings. I should be set as I purchased a Sidewinder 8-32 x 56 from Optics Planet a while back for $250,

"pheelgood"Well, Damn. AoA finally called me telling me that my .25 came in. Guess I'm getting both the Wildcat and the Edgun. Was told it was shipping either tomorrow or Monday.
An Edgun AND a Wildcat! Good for you! That'll make a nice side by side comparison.
I got my email. My WC should be arriving on Monday. I'm going to call and see about picking it up at the UPS hub early.
