MK1 Genll Impact and Michal's plenum

I have added a 700mm slug barrel, 580cc tank, oval-ed out the barrel and probe, shortened the valve spring, drilled out the valve housing, drilled out the valve seat to 6.1mm, made a Delrin C3, made a 1.25mm thick brass hammer spring weight/washer, and recently received and installed my new plenum from Michal. I adjusted my Huma reg down to 125bar and turned down the hammer spring setscrew adjustment a few turns. So, now shooting the NSA 36.2gr HP slugs at 930fps so around 70fpe. Haven't counted the shots yet but seems to be more than before. Shot a sub MOA group @ 100 yards, after some tuning, and went out to two hundred with it. Wind was not kind to me today swirling and changing directions constantly. Still I managed a couple of three shot and one four shot groups of about 1.5-2.0 inches at 200yards, on steel, the others were more like five to six inches cuz of the wind. The small ones let me know this will be quite a shooter sometime in the near future. A bit more tuning is about all that is left to do other than shoot and shoot and... Oh! That's right I be waiting for my .30 bolt probe to arrive from FX for over two months now. Then I can tune again for .30. Waiting for my replacement barrel for the SK-19, the original was defective, and need to order a new tube so I can finish another arrowgun... I guess I will never really be finished with anything the addiction slyly whispers. ;^)

Thanks FX and Michal

Fantastic.

How do you accomplish an arrow barrel for the Impact ?

You would have to make an adapter for the barrel with threads on the inside instead of outside so you could thread the barrel in or machine an adapter that fits the same as the stock one and turn it down after the stock threads and thread it inside to fit an arrow barrel. I would mod a different rifle as the impact does not make it easy for the conversion. I guess FX did it with mods to the gun and special arrows though. It's quite different than what I would expect.

Here is what I did with a Crosman 22xx gun

Here is a pistol that I did without the threaded adapter I used a smoothbore adapter in the box on the right side and set screws for this one. The adapter slides into the breech bore and the stock setscrews in the breech hold it and the arrow barrel secure.
