Power Plenum ~ Taipan Veteran

Ya the Sumo wont work. I modified the internals of my shroud so it would sit forward more on my barrel, about an 1 1/4" so I could use my Sumo.
Could you explain how/what mods you did to the shroud to move it foward? Pic (s) would be great if possible. I am planning to add a Veteran plenum to my Taipan Mutant short and want to learn about the options to extend the shroud.
Update: Just in case anyone wants to add a Veteran power plenum to a Mutant: I found it the hard way they are not compatible. Veteran tube is larger.

This is an old thread “kinda” Im thinking on getting the Plenum from Tony for my Vet Long 25, but I don’t want to ditch my Sumo, i like it a lot. I was wondering If Donny or someone else can fab an adapter/spacer, so we can keep the fat LDCs.

I made a couple for myself, one from T7075 that works like an extender so I can run a fat can either on the end of the bare barrel or with the factory moderator, and then the other from PEEK that just makes the end of the factory moderator flush to the end if the air cylinder
