I’m not commenting as if it’s a dig at me. No offense. And I do agree that there is more luck involved than 25M BR. But then there is also more luck than 25M BR involved in shooting an FT Target at 55 yards with a 12 fpe gun. That same unexpected wind gust affects an 8gr 12 fpe pellet at 55 yards more than a 45 gr 80 fpe pellet at 100 yards. So I’d say it’s relative to the target, gun, distance and ammo. My point is that there is a bit more luck involved in most pellet shooting events than 25M BR. But I never hear comments about “too much luck” in FT. The reason for the popularity of 100Y BR is that it’s exciting and there is a definitive element of chance. So although I do agree with you, I don’t look at it as a bad thing, just like guessing your hold off in other disciplines isn’t a bad thing. IMHO.
