I was disabling the auto safety on the Gladius I had recently purchased and noticed a potential long term problem that owners might want to check. The safety bar on mine was touching the side of the air cylinder when the safety was placed to the off (fire) position. The contact is not heavy but the bar is a stamped piece with sharp edges. Long term contact might abrade the air cylinder, especially if one unscrews the air cylinder with the safety in the off position. A few minutes with a dremel to bevel that bar edge relieved all contact.
